The company also focuses on battery storage and grid connections having made over 23,000 grid connections saving its clients over £18m.

    Mark Bramah is the Director of APSE Energy. Mark took up his current post in July 2014 prior to that he was the Assistant Chief Executive of APSE from April 2004 and formerly managed APSE's growing consultancy arm, the Best Value Consultancy from November 2000 to March 2004. Mark previously worked for the Association from 1992 to 1999 as the Principal Advisor for Public and Environmental Services after which he moved to Kirklees Metropolitan Council where he worked in the Corporate Development Unit on the implementation of Best Value and corporate policy development. Mark has also worked for both Rochdale and Bury Metropolitan Borough Councils. Mark is the lead officer for APSE Energy, the Association’s local authority energy collaboration.

    Martin Cotterell has recently joined Tesla Energy but is also the founder of Sundog Energy.Martin has a background in Engineering, BEng (Hons) Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and worked with the British Antarctic Survey and Greenpeace prior to setting up Sundog. Martin was awarded the Institute of Directors, Cumbria Director of the year, 2009.

    Paul sits on various governmental, NGO and heritage advisory panels; and 2015 has seen Paul being honoured with recognition from the Renewable Energy Association “Energy Champion 2015”, as well as being awarded “Sustainability Executive of the Year 2015”. Paul has been working over the last year within the National Trust Renewable Energy Investment Programme - a commitment to invest £35 million in over 40 more renewable energy projects to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, and source 50 per cent of its energy from renewable sources on land it looks after by 2020.
